Your time at Hideaway Lodge can be spent boating, fishing, hunting, camping, waterskiing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking or canoeing, and many other wilderness based activities.
Nestor Falls, Ontario, Canada is a very unique, full service community located within the Lake of the Woods region of northwestern Ontario. Besides spending your days on the water, along freshwater beaches, cliff sides, or relaxing around the cabin, there are many other things to do while you are here. There are several restaurants and bars, Provincial and local parks, the iconic Nestor Falls, souvenir shops, basketball and tennis courts, baseball diamond, outdoor skating rink (and frozen lakes during the winter months), a wide variety of well-maintained four season hiking trails, and many local landmarks to discover.
Many four season events are organized by different tourism operators and the local recreation committee to bring people together throughout the year. Events include the Crow Lake Classic bass tournament (hosted by Hideaway Lodge), Nestor Falls Musky Cup, Canada Day Pig Roast, Nestor Falls Winter Carnival, Curling bonspiels, Pow-Wows, Moose and Fiddle music festival, and lots of other nightly events and concerts hosted by local bars and business owners, which are sure to keep you engaged and entertained while spending time in our local area.
