Hanson’s Hideaway Lodge on Crow (Kakagi) Lake is located at 49.19 degrees latitude, -93.94 degrees longitude just north of Nestor Falls Ontario, Canada and is 100km north of the U.S. border (with Minnesota). It is a one hour drive north of the border. We are a three and a half hour drive East from Winnipeg, Manitoba (driving through Kenora, Ontario on highway #1, then south on highway #71).
Hanson’s Hideaway Lodge is nestled between Crow (Kakagi) Lake and Lake of the Woods just off of highway 71. Crow Lake is over 31,000 acres of crystal clear spring fed water surrounded by pine covered granite hills. Lake of the Woods (just 5 minutes away) is one of the most diverse bodies of fresh water in the world. The convergence of several eco-systems, over 14,000 islands, and over 65,000 miles of shore line will make every trip on the water an unforgettable experience.
